The Serpent and the Angel - Paper Shoe
This is a story of good over evil, health over disease. Part of my Heeling Project, this paper shoe tells the story of Margie. A few years ago she was involved in a terrible car accident that threatened her life and mobility. She had a few operations and many hard months of rehab to be able to regain control over her body and life. During her recovery, Margie had a recurring dream, or better said, a nightmare. Night after night, she found herself in a bright pastel-colored special place, peaceful, beautiful and bright. Hidden in this world of light and harmony was a serpent that would chase her, trying to harm her. This brought fear, hopelessness and desperation to her soul. After many tortured nights dreaming about the serpent that wanted to harm her and many days of recovery filled with physical and emotional pain, one special night an angel appeared in her dream. The nightmare turned into a fabulous inner journey of conquest and healing. The angel defeated the serpent. The fear, the hopelessness was gone.
